2017 season line up

The Miracle Worker

Our 2017 season opens with a new program through Rogers City High School. Under the direction of Julie Riddle, students present The Miracle Worker, a docudrama about the connection between Helen Keller and her teacher, Annie Sullivan. Helen Keller was a violent and spoiled young girl without vision, hearing, and the ability to speak when Annie comes into her life. The story is a journey of understanding.  The show opens on Thursday, Februay 16 and runs through Sunday, February 19.

Lionel Bart's Oliver! 

Lionel Bart's Oliver! is the Tony Award winning Broadway musical based on Charles Dickens' classic story Oliver Twist. Join us on an adventure as young orphan, Oliver Twist, escapes his life of poverty to make his fortune in Victorian London. Along the way he is taken in by Fagin, taught the ropes by the Artful Dodger, befriends Nancy, and gets on the wrong side of Bill Sikes. Oliver! is directed by Donna Klein and runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 28 through through May 7.

Godspell Jr. 

Our 12th summer youth theatre production is Godspell Jr., Stephen Schwartz's first major musical theatre production. This production relates parables of Jesus Christ using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and a hefty dose of comic timing. It provides messages of kindness, tolerance, and love. Godspell Jr. is directed by Theresa Gibson. The show opens on Thursday, August 17 and runs through Sunday, August 20.

A County Fair in da U.P., Yah Sure

We return to the Bunyan bar for the final play of our 2017 season, A County Fair in da U.P., Yah, Sure. We join the characters from A Christmas Carol in da U.P., Yah, Sure for some county fair fun! Who will win "Miss Walleye Queen? This musical will have your toes tappin' while it gives your funny bone a workout! A County Fair in da U.P., Yah, Sure is directed by Karl W. Heidemann. It opens on October 27th and runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through November5.

All take place at the Rogers City Theater, 257 N. Third St., Rogers City, Michigan during the 2017 season.

All shows are subject to change without notice.

Individual tickets: $12 adult, and $6 for students. Please note that we no longer offer senior tickets.

Season tickets are $35 for all four shows at the theater this season (save $13/adult  admission). Season tickets are available through the end of our first production.

Our six-pack ticket package is only $50 for six admissions (mix and match as you like) and is available throughout the season.
